Pre-procedure precautions
  • Keep an empty stomach 8 hours before the examination, for example, if procedure is undertaken in the morning, fasting after 12 o'clock midnight is recommenced. Drink as little water as possible.
  • If drugs are taken for chronic diseases, diabetes drugs can stopped before the examination, hypertension drugs can be taken with a little water.
  • Avoid wearing clothes with metallic components, such as bras with steel wires.
  • Avoid carrying watches, credit cards and magnetic cards.br>
Preparation before procedure
  • Please fill in the relevant "consent form" after the doctor explains.
During the procedure
  • Please relax and follow the instructions of the doctor or medical professional.
  • The examination lasts for about 15-30 minutes. Any problems or discomfort during the examination should be reported to doctors or medical professional at any time. (stomachache, stomach tightness, burning sensation, flatulence...)
Precautions after inspection
  • If there is no discomfort, you can leave and return to normal life.
  • If you feel uncomfortable in the stomach, throat, or anywhere else, please inform your doctor immediately.
  • If there are signs of disease, please follow the instructions of your doctor or medical professional.
Advice after the procedure
  • It is recommended that regular annual check-ups are performed.
  • Gastric lesions are not felt at the early stage. From the perspective of preventive medicine, it is suggested that an inspection is done annually.
Patient not suitable for "magnetic control upper gastrointestinal endoscopy"
  • Metal implants in the body, metallic stents, artificial joints, bone plates and bone nails.
  • Electronic devices in the body, such as heart rhythm regulator, cochlear implants, or other implantable electronic medical devices.
  • Pregnant women.
  • Dysphagia.
